- Charcoal model needs to go back to leather toe cap.This has been my go to shoe for several years. Unfortunately on the charcoal colour model they decided to change the toe cap from leather to rubber and this is definitely the weakest part of the shoe. The thin rubber cracks long before the shoe is even close to being worn out. The tan colour shoe still has the leather toe cap which is far superior and ensures you will get a lot of wear out of the shoe.
