- Very good winter boots for snow and iceI am very pleased with my Ice Whistler 2.0 boots. They are super warm, waterproof, and very comfortable. The NEXgrip sole works extremely well on ice and hard packed snow. After adjusting the laces to a comfortable tightness, I found I could simply use the built-in zipper to put the boots on and off - a very nice feature. I usually take a size 10 shoe, but found the size 11 Ice Whistler to be a perfect fit. These boots are well worth the money and I feel very stable and confident while walking on winter sidewalks and trails.
