- Follow-Up to FINALLY Classic Winter DRESS Boots! This is a follow-up to my review on 24Nov23. I did find VELCRO Dots at a Dollar Store and stuck on the "prickly" dot only to the upper corner of the inside flap, as it attaches nicely to the inside amitex lining to keep it in place; now keeping the flap from interfering when putting the boot on. However, suggest detaching the dots from the lining when removing the boots, as I found the velcro dot adhesive not strong enough and detaches from the flap overnight, so reattach before putting the boots on.....oh what we do for beauty! The open flap at the back of the boot is necessary as it adjusts to your calf-size and allows wearers to be able to wear, especially "skinny", jeans or dress pants without big bulky boot tops protruding underneath and totally destroying the line and look of the jeans or pants. I LOVE these boots and, as they are "classic" in design, trust I will have them for winters to come. Still highly recommend these LOW Heel DRESS Boots!

- FINALLY Classic Winter DRESS Boots!I have been looking, and looking, everywhere for some time now for "Classic" Winter DRESS Boots, and just got these. "Classic" Winter Dress Boots, with LOW heels, are getting harder and harder to find with the current 2023 styles for dress boots mostly "chunky" or "platform" or "moulded" type heels, which for "classic" mature women are a definite "NO"! However, the jury-is-still-out on the open flap at the back of the boot. The flap makes it harder to get the boots on, as it bunches or falls down inside when putting on. A suggestion for future similar styles is to put small pieces of "Velcro" strips (with the prickly side away from the body please) inside the boot and flap tops so that owners can afix and adjust the flaps to the inside of the boot. In fact, having just said that I am going to go and see if I can find a velcro that glues onto fabric and do just that!
