Founded in 1877 by John Gerhardt Field, JB Goodhue began as a small woolen mill with just four employees. Mr. Field successfully grew the business, manufacturing a wide range of woolen goods that were shipped across Canada. Initially focused on producing socks for the logging industry, the company later expanded to include work boots and winter boot socks.
Today, JB Goodhue is recognized as Canada’s leading outdoor adventure sock brand, proudly continuing its legacy since 1877. Our philosophy is straightforward: create the highest quality products at fair prices.
